Offering an outstanding combination of rich history and modern facilities, Camp Miakonda is the site for our first weekend gathering, August 24-26.

This year Camp Miakonda celebrates its 90^th year of continuous operation. Our course number C-90-07 commemorates this historic event. Camp Miakonda is the oldest Scout Camp in Ohio and the sixth oldest Scout Camp in the nation. Camp Miakonda may be found in the National Register of Historic Places.

We heartily encourage you to spend a moment and enjoy an absolutely outstanding historical overview and slideshow which tells the story of the early years of Camp Miakonda, up into the 1950's. Located in Lucas County just west of Toledo, Camp Miakonda is on the grounds of DeVilbiss Scout Reservation. Camp Miakonda is located near the Michigan-Ohio state line and is easily accessible from I-75, US-23 and I-475. An interactive map and directions to Camp Miakonda may be found here.
